Selecting Seeds

It is already the end of March and many of us have fingers itching to get into the garden!  Along with spring gardening fever comes seed selection.  And, not all seeds are the same.

Grown in Moscow, Idaho!

When you think about it, it makes sense to buy seed that is adapted to your local climate.  Enter Snake River Seed Cooperative!  This company, based in Boise, Idaho, has a network of Idaho and Inland Northwest farmers who grow the seeds they sell.

Up here on the Palouse, Affinity Farm grew several varieties of tomatoes, squash and lettuce seed for Snake River Seed Cooperative.
